It is an introduction to the world and culture of Sumo-tori rather than just a fighting demonstration.

Hirakuza sumo wrestling matches are distinguished by a strong sense of ritual and tradition. A number of ceremonial actions are taken before each match, such as the wrestlers' symbolic shiko stomps and the dohyo's salt purification. These customs, which are rooted in Shinto beliefs, give the competitive competition a spiritual dimension.

The interior design of Sumo Hall Hirakuza aims to improve the audience's viewing pleasure. With its tiered seating arrangement, the large arena guarantees that viewers will always have a clear view of the sumo ring, or dohyo. The bouts take place in a sacred space created by a layer of finely woven straw bales surrounding the elevated clay platform. Former professional sumo wrestlers make up every performer. They will go over the background of sumo, acts that are prohibited, strategies for winning, and all of the regulations in plain English.

Premium and Standard Seats are available. If you want a close-up view of the exciting sumo show and want to be right in the middle of the action, the premium seats are just what you need. With the standard seats you can enjoy the atmosphere of the entire hall.

Regarding the menu options: Instead of the bento box (or the snack bag), which is included, the vegan, halal or premium bento box can also be booked for an extra charge.
